Undated broadside promoting exhibition at L. Orcutt's gallery of two paintings: Rosa Bonheur's "Los Borriqueros," depicting Spanish muleteers crossing the Pyrenees, a painting completed during the early 1860s, which she sold in London in 1865; and a portrait of Mlle. Rosa Bonheur by Edouard Dubufe. Broadside includes extensive descriptions of both paintings and biographical information re Bonheur. Considered the most famous female artist of her time, Bonheur was a female artist who dressed as a man and was known for her realistic paintings of animals.
